🎻 Yat Siu Tokenizes 300-year-old Violin for Multimillion-Dollar Loan
Yat Siu, the co-founder of Animoca Brands, tokenized a 300-year-old violin and used it as collateral for a multimillion-dollar loan from Galaxy Digital. Although the loan amount remains undisclosed, reports suggest it is in the millions. Galaxy will hold the NFT and the physical version until Siu settles the loan. This historic violin, once belonging to Russian Empress Catherine the Great, was acquired by Siu in 2023 for over $9 million.
